Ambassador of China in Germany Visits King Long Booth at IAA

On September 26th,the seventh day that the 64th Commercial Vehicle Trade Fair IAA 2012 was being held. SHI Mingde, Chinese Ambassador in Germany, came to visit the booth of King Long in IAA fair. The ambassador expressed that the embassy would great support the Chinese excellent enterprises who are endeavoring to explore the European markets. For King Long Bus, SHI Mingde encouraged it to keep on being innovation and have its own internationalized way so as to as a model for the China enterprisers.

In this IAA Commercial Vehicle Fair, King Long has released its three newest designed-for-European-market models - XMQ6800AGD, XMQ6996 & XMQ6130C and "4S" innovation technology. Mr. SHI was interested in visiting the bus models by loading on them as well as learning about the configuration and design features of the buses. In addition, he also knew more about the current enterprise scale of King Long Bus and its products structures as well as the sales performance in European markets.

King Long was the first China bus builder to enter European markets as well as the fist China bus brand that cooperates with the European large transportation operators. This year, 2012 is the 12th year that King Long is building general marketing and service networks in Europe. Data shows that King Long has exported 2500 buses to 12 EU countries, such as UK, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Sweden, Slovenia, Hungary, Cyprus and Malta, and over 20 European countries in total, leading all other China bus manufacturers, whether in the volume of sales or the quantity of countries.

According to the staff of King Long Bus, the next step of King long is considering to hand in hand with the European local bus enterprises on the technology cooperation or joint cooperation. Or even through the merger or the acquisition way to realize the the European design localization of King Long buses & coaches.

Mr. SHI appreciated what King Long has done and achieved in European markets. He said, Europe is the center of the world vehicle industry development. China enterprises should work twice as hard to stand on the local market by introducing and learning actively from the advanced technology and experience of the European enterprises.
