Twenty-six Units of King Long Aid Buses Have Been Delivered to Samoa

Recently, the Sports Material Transfer Ceremony of Chinese Aid to Samoa on 2019 Pacific Games was held at the capital of Apia port. At the ceremony, with the friendship of Chinese people, the Chinese Aid sports materials including 26 units of King Long passenger buses for commuting of athletes had officially delivered to Samoa.

Prime Minister Tuilaepa, on behalf of the government of Samoa, showed his appreciation to sincere and timely assistance of Chinese government and people, and expressed that the materials will surely improve the conducts of athletes, coaches and referees in the Games and future events and help Samoa to successfully organize an amazing Games. He also said, in recent year, the traditional Sino-Samoa friendship has become more and more intimate, the transfer of materials was no doubt a milestone of the relationship between the two countries.

In the speech, Ambassador Chao Xiaoliang expressed that Samoa was always a good friend and good partner of China. It has been the tradition and etiquette of China to offer our generous help for the joyful event of our friend. Therefore, regarding the request of Samoan government, the Chinese government had provided its assistance within capacity as fast as possible to support the successful organization of the Pacific Games. Thanks to the close cooperation of the two countries, the project had been completed efficiently and smoothly, which had witnessed our profound friendship once again.

Samoa is located in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean, and as one of the most important sports events, the Pacific Games will be held here. In order to help for the successful organization of the event, Chinese government has provided great support and assistance on the project construction and services, of which the vehicle service is one of the most important parts. In 2018 APEC held in Papua New Guinea, 85 units of King Long buses supplied by China were recognized by all sides with good quality and services, which also impressed the implementation company of this project, China National Corporation For Overseas Economic Cooperation. Therefore, after comprehensive consideration on reputation and representativeness of brand and product quality and services, CCOEC has decided to choose King Long once again as the supplier for Samoa aid project.

In July, the athletes from countries all over the Pacific Ocean will compete in the arena of Samoa to surpass themselves. King Long bus will step onto the world stage again to undertake the mission of service for the event and demonstrate the elegance of Chinese independent bus brand.
