King Long Won Two Industry Awards

King Long won two awards in industry of 2018: China Bus Industry Leadership Award, and OEM Intelligent Network Team of OBM Commercial Vehicle.

China Bus Industry Leadership Award (the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up)

In 40 years since the Reform and Opening-up, China Bus Industry has gone through the development stages, namely introduction, joint venture, R & D and innovation. Chinese Bus production and sales volume ranks first in the global for over 10 years since 2001, counting 60% in the global bus market.

On January 10^th， 2019, China Communications News, China Highway Vehicle & Machinery Co., Ltd., Chang’an University School of Automobile and Chongqing Vehicle Test & Research Institute jointly held the China Bus Industry Selection Event for the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up. King Long has won the China Bus Industry Leadership Award (the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up).

Meanwhile, Su Liang, the President of, and Ke Zhida, the Chief Engineer of the King Long Bus Engineering Research Institute have won the “Outstanding Talent Award in China Bus Industry” and “Youth Talent Award in China Bus Industry” for the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening-up respectively.

OEM Intelligent Network Team of OBM Commercial Vehicle of the Year

The 2018 High-Tech Intelligent Automobile Meeting was held on January 15, 2019 in Shanghai, as well as the Golden Globe Award Awarding Ceremony. The Golden Globe Award is a review of the year for China automobile intelligent network industry chain, and high recognition and affirmation of the annual performance of an automobile enterprise. The key word in this grand meeting is “promotion”. China intelligent network automobile industry has continuously driven China automobile industry into a new era like a rising storm.

In 2018, Apolong is undoubtedly a shining star in China autonomous car industry. As the first L4-level MP autonomous bus in the world, hundreds of Apolong buses have assembled and put into commercial operation successfully, opening a new situation for driverless service in public transport. Moreover, Apolong has won such awards as “Innovative Model” and “2018 Star of Driverless Bus”. In this grand meeting, King Long has won the “OEM Intelligent Network Team of OBM Commercial Vehicle of the Year”.

The awards are not only a social recognition of King Long bus, but also a motivation for innovation of King Long. With technological innovation as the core competitive power, King Long will continue opening a new chapter for China OBM bus in the next 30 years.
