King Long Won the "2017 Responsibility Brand Award"

King Long announced new encouraging news in early 2018. The 7th China Public Welfare Festival, the most influential event in the charity field of China, was held in Beijing on January 29-30. After winning two awards last year, King Long landed this year's "Responsibility Brand Award" during the festival for its contributions in social responsibilities and public welfare.

China Public Welfare Festival was launched in 2011. It is the first festival in the country that is jointly initiated by the mass media and named after "public welfare". Since its launch, it has become a bridge to drive the development of public welfare undertakings.


The festival attracts a large number of distinguished guests from business, politics, academia, media, and arts and culture. Many celebrities including Chiling Lin, Jimmy Lin, Pan Xiaoting, Shang Wenjie, Jing Tian, Yang Mi and Nin Jing have served as promotion ambassadors for the festival. This year's public welfare festival has a lineup as strong as that of previous festivals. Celebrities such as Zhai Tianlin and Wen Zhaolun offered substantial help at the scene.

The birth of Longwin II proves to the world that China's passenger buses have not only the world's largest sales volume, but also a capacity for manufacturing high-end passenger buses as superior as first-tier international brands.

Apolong Pilot Incorporates Smart Network into Public Transportation

In 2017, King Long and Baidu made joint efforts in commercial driverless vehicles, taking a milestone step on the way to unmanned passenger buses in China.

The cooperation between Baidu Apolong and King Long fulfilled the vision of safe, convenient and orderly public travel in 2018, promoted the rapid adoption of automatic driving technology and took a big step towards intelligent, shared and networked public transport in China.

As a response to the worsening haze problem in cities, the "King Long under the Blue Sky" program launched by King Long promoted the concepts of health and green environment through public sports events such as Xiamen Marathon and passed on the concept of green and low-carbon travel.

At the same time, the program safeguards urban blue sky with practical actions. King Long has 20 years of experience in the R&D and manufacturing of new energy buses. Library Buses Ignite Hopes and Dreams

Starting from 2016, King Long and Xiamen Red Cross launched the "King Long Mobile Library" project. Surplus library resources in cities are transported to remote mountainous areas using King Long library buses, providing a stable flow of book resources for local children who urgently need to read.

Since the introduction of King Long Mobile Library, it has received extensive attention and support from all walks of life. Up to now, King Long has donated 11 library buses and over 100,000 love-carrying books to many regions of the country, covering tens of thousands of kilometers, bridging the gap between urban and rural areas, providing love-carrying books for children in nearly 300 schools in Ruijin of Jiangxi, Guyuan of Ningxia, Fuping of Shaanxi, Huaxi of Guizhou and Hailar of Inner Mongolia, and igniting their hopes and dreams.
