King Long Wins the first “Quality Improvement Award for Export Enterprises”

Xiamen "Quality Improvement Award for Export Enterprises” award presentation ceremony was held on September 26th, 2011 and three local enterprises, including King Long, became the first winners. Deputy Director of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China YANG, Gang; Director of Department of Human Resources ZHANG, Qinrong and Xiamen Mayor LIU, Keqing awarded the three enterprises.

The award was initiated by Xiamen Government and proposed by Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to praise the export enterprises excellent in quality safety of export products. Xiamen Government set strict standards for the award, such as "no administrative penalty record and bad credit record within 3 years; no quality disputes, claims and goods rejection due to the fault of manufacturing enterprises; with self-owned brand, proprietary intellectual property rights and core technology”.

As industry leader of Xiamen, King Long is strict with the management and quality under the support and direction of Xiamen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and King Long passed a series of certifications such as "CCC”, "ISO/TS16949:2009”, "ISO9001:2008” and "WVTA”.

Through advanced manufacturing base, perfect overseas marketing network and high quality, King Long exported over 200 thousand buses to over 8000 bus operators of 83 countries and areas. In the first half of 2011, King Long exported 3300 buses worthy of 1 billion Yuan, year-on-year rises of 100%, ranking No.1 in bus industry.

At the ceremony, YANG, Gang spoke highly of Xiamen city for setting the award and he said the award would improve the quality of China products and make "made in China” more popular around the world.

After receiving the plaque from Director YANG, Deputy General Manager XU, Xiangdong said: "The award represents the trust of Xiamen Government and Xiamen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and is also the most important glory of King Long. We will continue to improve our management and quality to promote the process of internationalization and make King Long the industrial symbol of Xiamen.”
