King Long Delivers 100 Ambulances to Yichang

On the morning of March 25, Fujian provincial Party committee and provincial government assisted 100 King Long ambulances in Yichang, Hubei Province, which arrived in Yichang after 36 hours' long journey through special railway transportation. A delivery ceremony was held at Huayan railway station by Fujian medical aid team and relevant departments of Yichang. After the delivery ceremony, the vehicles were distributed to the township hospitals, community health service centers and other basic medical institutions in Yichang.

“These vehicles provide safety guarantee for the rescue, monitoring and transfer of critical patients in primary medical institutions, and will also improve the pre-hospital emergency capacity of basic medical institutions as a whole. In the next step, we will strictly manage and standardize the use of them, practically guarantee the health of the people, and repay the love and kindness of the people of Fujian. Li Peiming, deputy director of Yichang Health Committee, said at the delivery site.

It is understood that this batch of transfer type ambulances are manufactured according to the standard of type B monitoring ambulances, and special development has been made to adapt to the use requirements of township hospitals, including: they are equipped with two 80ah on-board batteries and on-board inverter power system to provide power support for special medical equipment; they are equipped with external power supply and ultra-long power line to ensure the emergency use of special medical equipment; the interior and ceiling of the medical cabin made of composite materials which are easy to clean and disinfect, with good waterproof, antiseptic and antibacterial properties; the light aluminum alloy stretcher car, oxygen bottle, medicine cabinet with middle partition wall and other professional emergency medical devices equipped in the car provide comprehensive guarantee for hospitals and emergency centers to rescue, monitor and transfer the patients with critical illness.
