The 64th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA 2012) is due to be held from Sept. 20 to Sept. 27, 2012 in Hannover, Germany. The largest commercial vehicle show attracts many China CV builders to attend and the leading China bus builder, King Long Bus, will bring five bus models to show. It’s been over 100 years since the first show in 1897, and the latest commercial vehicle products and technology will be showed here firstly on the globe.
King Long XMQ6996 coach
King Long Bus is the first China bus builder to attend the prestigious auto show. In 2008, King Long XMQ6127 started from Xiamen and arrived in Hannover across Eurasia continent, and it covered 12,500 km as the ancient Silk Road, shaking many European customers. King Long signed cooperation contract with ARRIVA Bus as their main city bus provider in IAA 2010, a major step for China bus manufacturers to enter European markets.
This year, King Long Bus will take 600 m2 booth and five bus models, hitting record high ever. And the five bus models are XMQ6900, XMQ699 and XMQ6129 medium and large coaches for European high-end tourism markets, 13-meter suburb bus XMQ6130 as well as three-door low floor 8-meter monocoque city bus XMQ6800AG. All the buses and coaches are complied with EU regulation on buses.

As one of the earliest China bus builder to explore European markets, King Long entered European markets since 2003. Currently there are over 2,500 King Long buses running across 21 European countries. This is the third time for King Long to attend IAA and also the 7th time to attend professional Europe CV show, and King Long would like to learn advanced bus technology and manufacturing skills and win more customers and market shares, said Xie Weiguo, CSO of King Long.
Currently King Long Bus marketing networks and products are leading other China bus builders in Europe. There are a dozen of authorized dealers and service stations. In terms of bus models, nine models have passed EU WVTA certificates, six bus models passing Russian GOST, and five more bus models will pass WVTA certificates, and the buses are from 8-meter to 13-meter city bus and tourist coaches.
