Andrei Andreev, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus Visited Xiamen King Long

On the morning of September 10th, 2021, Andrei Andreev, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai, General Manager Li Xiaoxiao and Deputy General Manager Hou Changqing of Sino-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company were invited to visit Xiamen King Long Accompanied by Zheng Xiaohu, General Manager of King Long International Trading Co.,Ltd and other relevant business personnel, the guests visited King Long brand & culture gallery, national test center and prototype vehicles to be exported to CIS countries.

During the visit, Consul General Mr. Andrei Andreev expressed his appreciation for the development and achievements of Xiamen King Long over the past 30 years. Especially his keen interest was triggered towards the special solutions tailed to tackle the extreme cold climate for the prototype vehicles exported to CIS countries. Also, an in-depth and detailed discussion was exchanged over the low-temperature protection for the chassis and vehicle, as well as active and passive safety measures, etc.

In the subsequent exchange meeting, the two sides had a more in-depth exchange. Zheng Xiaohu, General Manager of King Long International Trading Co.,Ltd, detailed the King Long’s new vision and mission. He expressed that Xiamen King Long had been cultivating overseas market for nearly 20 years and had extended from vehicle export to comprehensive output of technology, brand and service, and had worked out a set of overseas marketing mode of "complete vehicle export - bulk parts export - technology export -brand export". In view of relentless progress in solutions of electrification, intelligence, network connection and light weight for vehicles, King Long has gained wide recognition and favor from overseas customers in recent years. China and Belarus enjoy a comprehensive strategic partnership, and the China-Belarus Industrial Park is a landmark project of the "Belt and Road" Initiative between two countries, a national project of common concern from top leaders of two countries. He emphasized that Xiamen King Long was willing to jointly cooperate with China-Belarus Industrial Park to build exchange bridge and cooperation between two countries for the new energy vehicle industry, and to inject new impetus for the cooperation between China and Belarus under the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

Andrei Andreev, Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai also gave a detailed presentation on Belarus. He said that China and Belarus had been always in good cooperation relationship, especially between the two heads of state. Belarus was very keen to continuously strengthen cooperation with China. He emphasized Belarus had a leading edge in the field of machinery manufacturing, especially in heavy trucks and that today in King Long factory we saw many advanced technologies, such as driverless buses, 5G intelligent networked buses, pure electric buses, charging equipment and new material applications of carbon fiber, those advance technologies were just what Belarus was striving for. Finally, Mr. Andrei Andreev concluded that he would act immediately after returning to Shanghai and try to facilitate the cooperation between relevant Belarusian enterprises and King Long as soon as possible.
