300 King Long CNG Serve Investment Conference in Xiamen

Electric and CNG natural gas buses will be formally applied in 15 bus routes in Xiamen before the investment conference, which were exquisitely produced by King Long Bus.

In recent years, Xiamen municipal party committee and government promotes the application of clean vehicles with zero emission, low energy-consumption and low noise. These 300 CNG buses and some electric buses mean a lot for making environment-protection city. In the future years, the government will increasingly strengthen the investment on natural gas buses and strive for the proportion of clean energy buses as 50% of the total.

As the domestic leading bus builder, King Long Bus has developed new energy buses for 10 years, referring to CNG (congressed natural gas), LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), LNG (liquefied natural gas), hybrid power and electric buses. As for the development of natural gas buses, it has mastered the mature core technology of manufacturing as well as assembly and set up reliable options supply system. In August 2008, 491 natural gas buses were used in the special routes for Olympic Games, contributing to the city landscaping. At present, King Long natural gas buses have run in many cities such as Beijing and Chongqing in China.
